We are pleased to announce that six additional clubs have now applied to join the Essex Swimming League for the upcoming season. We will therefore be running with two divisions next year, each division comprising seven clubs. The first fixture is currently planned for Saturday 3rd February 2024. Full fixture details to follow.
As per the league rules, there will be in season promotion and relegation occurring between the divisions after each gala (two clubs up and two down after both rounds 2 & 3) which should keep things interesting!
There was one small change to the events agreed for the new season which was to change the three events with 25m race legs to be 50m legs. This affects the 11& Under Medley Relays and the final event, the Squadron Relay. The change eliminates the need for us to have starts from both ends of the pool.
