We are now inviting applications from new clubs to join the league for our 2023/24 season.
The competition will take place over four galas each comprising 49 events. This format of gala has proved very popular with swimmers and generates much excitement (and noise) from both swimmers and spectators. Each gala lasts approximately 2½ hours, is traditionally held on Saturday evenings between January and June and uses a variety of pools around the county.
With a multi-division format, which includes in-season promotion and relegation, we have found this format delivers a fun competition to suit a wide range of clubs and is excellent for building team spirit as well as teasing out PB’s! Participation in the league cost just £50 for the season, with pool hire arranged by the league and funded through spectator fees.
